Joanne DelCarpine
When Joanne DelCarpine sings, people ask for more. This has been true her entire life. She spent the better part of the late 80s through the early 2000s making music in Boulder, CO, and criss-crossing the states as a singer, songwriter, and percussionist. Joanne has grooved her way through solo acoustic shows, West African dance performances, and folk festivals attended by thousands. Some of her past projects include a tight-harmony acoustic trio, fronting a Zimbabwe-inspired marimba band, backing vocalist and dancer in a funk band, church soloist, and lead drummer for dance classes.
After a 20-year hiatus to raise her son, she's picked it up again in Albany, NY with Joanne’s Driving the Bus. Audiences light up when Joanne performs. Her energy, passion, and joy are absolutely irresistible.
